Giving Tuesday 50/50 Fundraiser

Heartland Hospice’s Giving Tuesday 50/50 Rules

1.The 50/50 tickets will be sold online. Click on the purchase button and you will be taken to Raffle Box website where tickets are sold. If you wish to purchase a ticket via alternative means, please email us at publicengagement@heartlandhospicemj.ca Licence #RR24-0476

2. You must be 19 years of age and physically in the province of Saskatchewan at the time of purchase. You must purchase a 50/50 ticket to win.

3. Heartland Hospice board members are prohibited from purchasing tickets.

4. Available tickets will be as follows:
a) $10 for 1 ticket
b) $20 for 5 tickets
c) $50 for 25 tickets
d) $100 for 100 tickets

5. The total number of tickets being made available for sale will be limited to 50,000

6. Charitable tax receipts will not be issued for 50/50 entries. Should you prefer to donate directly to our registered non-profit and obtain a tax receipt, please go to https://www.heartlandhospicemj.ca/contribute/
7. The winner will receive 50% of ticket sales up to a maximum $25,000 prize on $50,000 in ticket sales.

8. Ticket sales will run until Midnight on Wednesday, December 4, 2024.

9. The draw will be conducted by Random Number Generator in Grant Hall Hotel at 401 Main St N, Moose Jaw, SK at 7:15 pm, December 5th, 2024. We will only be drawing one prize. The purchaser does not need to be present to win. We will livestream the event on Facebook, and we will have a minimum of 2 witnesses personally in attendance.

10. Following the draw, the winner will be posted on our website’s fundraising page https://www.heartlandhospicemj.ca/fundraising-events/, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram pages.

11. If the draw cannot take place, the draw will be held as soon as possible, with approval from SLGA. This is only in the event of unforeseen circumstances.

12. Winners will be contacted using information they provided at the time they purchased the ticket.

13. Winners will be paid by cheque or e-transfer to the exact name or email recorded online. Payment will be issued within two weeks following the draw date.

14. Any unclaimed prizes will be held in a secure location for the period of one year. If unclaimed at that time, the prize will be donated to an approved SLGA charitable beneficiary.

15. By purchasing a ticket, you approve having your name, number, and prize amount published.
